Samuels Recycling Company was established in 1896 in Portage, WI and was acquired by Alter Trading Corporation in December of 2006. The Samuels family purchased Samuels/Beaver Dam in December of 1993. Beaver Dam is a feeder yard for the Samuels/Waupun yard. Beaver Dam serves the area for non-ferrous and some ferrous scrap.

The Beaver Dam facility proudly supports the community – Beaver Dam Lake Days and non-profit organizations in the area.
